Place ham in slow cooker. Pour in cider. Add ginger, cinnamon and nutmeg. Sprinkle apple all around ham. Cover and cook on High for 2 hours or until thermometer reaches 140°F (60°C).
Remove ham to cutting board and slice thinly.
Whisk cornstarch with water and stir into slow cooker. Cook, stirring for 2 minutes or until thickened. Serve with ham.
